Thats something Zachary Writes relates to and lives by.
An unsigned artist with a work ethic unlike any other, Writes is destined for success. The 19 year old artist from the overlooked, but musically competitive city of Providence, RI has just begun exhibiting all he has to offer to hip-hop.
Starting with the very basics of poetry he learned in his sixth grade english class, he created his own musical style and flow. By the age of 15 notebooks began filling up and what started out as children's poetry turned into verses and songs.
With each page that turned his talent grew. A strong believer and supporter of Rhode Island hip hop, Writes has worked and collaborated with fellow ocean state artists such as CR THE BEAST, Hype Holla, & Randyn Julius.
Writes has also opened shows for artists such as Fabolous, Stalley, & Ace Hood. Although he has done a lot independently, we have yet to see all that this young entrepreneur has to offer.
One thing is for sure, he’s on a mission to take over the game, and he’s not going to stop until the world knows him and his state, after all .. You can’t spell Writes without RI.
